General

FLOX is a team of technology and logistics professionals based in London. The company was founded to fix a long-standing problem in supply chain management: finding and comparing logistics providers is slow, opaque and frustrating. FLOX is backed by well-known investors including top-tier venture capital firms and corporate partners. The platform connects businesses that need warehousing and transport with pre-vetted logistics service providers through AI-powered matching and a transparent marketplace.
Shippers share their warehousing and transport requirements through the platform. Our AI and machine learning algorithms then match those needs with the most suitable logistics service providers, balancing service quality, cost and environmental impact. Once a match is confirmed, the logistics provider delivers the agreed services while FLOX handles the commercial framework. The platform manages the entire lifecycle from initial search and quoting through to invoicing, payment tracking and performance reporting.
FLOX offers a full range of asset-less logistics services including transportation, warehousing and inventory management. Shippers can find providers for road, air and sea freight through our platform. Warehousing solutions cover both short-term and long-term needs, with services ranging from simple pallet-in/pallet-out storage to rework, co-packing and full fulfilment operations. The platform also supports end-to-end supply chain visibility, automated reporting and freight bill audit capabilities to give businesses complete control over their logistics spend.
FLOX has digitised the full process of finding and booking logistics services. The marketplace lets users search for warehousing options and see pricing instantly, with filters for location, capacity, accreditations and dozens of other criteria. This removes the months of phone calls and email chains that traditionally go into sourcing a provider. Customers pay only for what they use, when they need it, while suppliers fill otherwise empty capacity. The result is a faster, more transparent process that benefits both sides.
Signing up is free for both shippers and logistics providers. You can post requirements, browse the marketplace and connect with potential partners at no charge. FLOX earns a commission only when a successful transaction takes place. The commission is deducted from the transaction amount and covers both transport and warehousing services. There are no hidden fees, subscription charges or minimum commitments. Full pricing details are available on our pricing page, and the commission structure is communicated upfront before any agreement.
FLOX uses a standardised Supplier Service Agreement as its legal template. This is tailored to the specific scope of services agreed between the customer and the Logistics Service Provider. The agreement covers rates, operational requirements and service-level expectations. It is presented during the negotiation stage once a match is confirmed, so both parties can review terms before any commitment. The template is designed to be clear and straightforward, reducing the legal overhead that typically slows down logistics procurement.
Our terms and conditions are available on the Terms of Use page, accessible from the footer of every page on the site. For information about how we collect, store and handle personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy pages. We recommend reviewing these documents before using the platform. If you have questions about any specific clause or need further clarification on data handling practices, our support team is available to help.
All contracts arranged through the platform include liability cover of up to 1,000 pounds per tonne, protecting against damage or theft during warehousing and transport operations. This coverage is built into the standard agreement at no additional cost. For businesses with higher-value goods or specific insurance requirements, FLOX works with a network of insurance providers to arrange bespoke coverage. We recommend discussing your specific needs with our team during the onboarding process to make sure you have appropriate protection in place.
Visit the FLOX website and create a free account by completing a short registration form. Once registered, you can set up your company profile and begin posting requirements if you are a shipper, or listing your services and capacity if you are a logistics provider. Our onboarding team will guide you through the process and help optimise your profile for better visibility. Most users are fully set up and active on the platform within a few days of signing up.
FLOX currently has the strongest coverage across the United Kingdom, with logistics providers listed in every major region. The platform also supports international requirements, connecting businesses with providers across Europe and beyond for air, sea and road freight. Coverage continues to grow as more providers join the marketplace. If you need services in a specific area, use the map-based search on the marketplace to check current availability, or contact our team to discuss your requirements directly.
For vendors

Finding a logistics provider used to take months of phone calls, emails and guesswork. There was no central database, no way to compare pricing and no reliable indicator of service quality. FLOX changes that. The platform gives you access to the largest searchable database of logistics providers available anywhere. You can compare providers on location, capacity, accreditations, services, ratings and dozens of other variables. Pricing is transparent and standardised, so you can compare on a like-for-like basis. The whole process takes a fraction of the time it used to.
Flexible warehousing has two key advantages: operational and financial. Operationally, you can scale logistics capacity up or down in line with demand. Whether you are handling a seasonal spike, launching a new product or responding to an emergency, FLOX lets you adjust without renegotiating a long-term contract. Financially, the model turns the fixed cost of a traditional logistics agreement into a short-term variable cost. You pay for what you use rather than committing to space and services you may not need year-round.
Every logistics provider goes through a vetting process before joining the platform. We verify credentials, insurance, accreditations and operational track record. Once active, providers are rated by the customers they work with, and those ratings are visible to all platform users. Poor performance is flagged and addressed. This combination of upfront checks and ongoing feedback means the quality of providers on FLOX stays consistently high. If you have concerns about a specific provider, our support team can investigate and take action.
Yes. The platform provides real-time tracking and visibility for both shipments and warehouse inventory. You can monitor shipment progress, view status updates, track stock levels and access documentation from a single dashboard. Exception alerts notify you of delays or issues as they happen, so you can respond quickly rather than finding out after the fact. The system also supports automated reporting, giving you a complete audit trail of all logistics activity across every provider you work with through FLOX.
The platform includes a built-in communication system between shippers and their logistics providers. You can raise and track issues directly, with a full record kept for reference. This covers both shipping and warehousing operations. For anything that cannot be resolved directly with your provider, FLOX has a dedicated support team available by phone, email and through the online support system. Response times are typically within one business day, and our team will work with both parties to reach a resolution.
Use the FLOX marketplace to search for logistics providers by location, services, capacity and other criteria. The map view and filters help you narrow results to the most relevant options. Once you find a provider that fits your requirements, you can connect with them directly through the platform to discuss specifics, request pricing on additional services and negotiate terms. When both sides are ready, you confirm the contract through FLOX and operations can begin. Most users find suitable providers within days.
FLOX is a B2B platform, so you need a registered company and a business email address to create an account. We do not offer logistics contracts aimed at individuals. Beyond that, there is no minimum order size or volume commitment required. Smaller enquiries are welcome, though pricing tends to be more competitive for larger volumes. Whether you need a few pallets of storage for a month or a full nationwide distribution solution, the platform can accommodate your requirements.
FLOX charges a percentage commission on each transaction completed through the platform, covering both transport and warehousing services. The exact percentage varies depending on the type of service, shipment size, storage duration and contract value. Commission rates are communicated upfront to all parties before any agreement is finalised, so there are no surprises. The structure is designed to be straightforward and predictable. Full details are available on our pricing page, and our team can walk you through the specifics for your situation.
By connecting you with the largest database of logistics providers, FLOX helps you find competitive pricing for your specific requirements. A significant proportion of our supply comes from spare capacity at major retailers, which is exclusive to FLOX and unavailable elsewhere. Beyond pricing, the platform saves considerable time. Sourcing a logistics provider used to take six to 12 months of negotiation. With FLOX, we have examples of customers going from first contact to active operations in under 48 hours.
No. FLOX operates on a flexible service agreement model rather than traditional property leases. Customers access warehousing and transport services without long-term commitments or the obligations that come with lease agreements. Our standard legal contract is a service level agreement that can run for as long or as little time as you need. This gives you the freedom to scale up during peak periods and scale back when demand drops, without being locked into fixed terms or minimum durations.
Yes. The FLOX marketplace includes providers with ambient, chilled and frozen storage capabilities, as well as those that can maintain specific temperature ranges within their facilities. Temperature controlled transport is also available for cold chain requirements. You can filter your search specifically for temperature controlled solutions, making it straightforward to find providers that meet your requirements. Whether you need short-term chilled storage for a product launch or a long-term frozen warehousing arrangement, the marketplace has providers that can help.
Yes. The marketplace includes providers handling bulk products, hazardous materials, bonded warehousing for both dry and wet goods, pharmaceuticals and outdoor storage. Many of our providers hold accreditations from bodies such as BRC and MHRA, among others. You can filter search results by specific accreditations and specialist capabilities to find exactly what you need. If your requirements are particularly niche or you are unsure which accreditations apply, our team can help identify suitable providers from the network.
Yes. Many of our customers use FLOX to complement their existing logistics arrangements rather than replace them. You might use the platform to handle overflow during peak periods, test new regions before committing to a long-term contract, or find specialist providers for specific product lines. There is no exclusivity requirement. You are free to work with providers both on and off the platform simultaneously. FLOX is designed to add flexibility to your supply chain without disrupting what already works.
For logistics service providers

The FLOX marketplace gives logistics providers direct access to a large and growing pool of businesses looking for warehousing, transport and fulfilment services. Listing is free and puts your services in front of customers ranging from small UK businesses to large international enterprises. The platform's AI-powered matching means you receive relevant enquiries rather than generic leads. Your profile, pricing and availability are visible to potential customers around the clock, which increases your reach without adding to your sales and marketing costs.
Sign up on the platform and create your company account. From there, complete your provider profile with details about your facilities, services, accreditations and operational capabilities. You can then list specific capacity and pricing for the services you offer. Once your profile is live, customers can find you through the marketplace search and connect with you directly. Our onboarding team is available to help you set up your profile and make sure your listings are optimised for maximum visibility to potential customers.
Customers can see your listed pricing, business information and service capabilities, including location, accreditations, facilities and operational details. They can also view your FLOX rating and any reviews from previous customers. Your actual site name and direct contact details remain hidden until a customer connects with you through the platform. This protects your business information while still giving potential customers enough detail to make an informed decision about whether your services match their requirements before initiating contact.
Creating a profile, listing your services and receiving customer enquiries through FLOX is completely free. There are no subscription fees, setup charges or listing costs. FLOX earns revenue through a commission on successful transactions completed via the platform. You only pay when you actually win business through FLOX. Commission rates are transparent and communicated before any agreement is finalised. Full pricing information is available on our pricing page, and our team can answer any specific questions about costs.
FLOX charges commission for the duration of any agreement that was facilitated through the platform. This means commission applies as long as the customer and provider continue working together under the original FLOX-arranged contract. If the relationship extends beyond the initial terms or is renewed, the commission arrangement continues accordingly. The rates and duration are set out clearly in the platform terms, so both parties understand the financial commitment from the outset. There are no hidden escalation clauses or unexpected charges.
Yes. After creating your main account, you can add multiple site profiles under the same company. Each site has its own listing with separate capacity, services, pricing and location details. You manage all sites from a single dashboard, which makes it straightforward to track enquiries and activity across your full network. This is particularly useful for providers operating multiple warehouses or depots. Customer enquiries are routed to the appropriate site based on their requirements, so you see relevant opportunities for each location.
Your rating is based on two main factors: the volume of successful transactions completed through FLOX and the feedback provided by customers you have worked with. Customers rate providers after each engagement, and these ratings are visible to all marketplace users. A strong rating increases your visibility in search results and the number of direct enquiries you receive. Responding promptly to enquiries, maintaining accurate listings and delivering consistent service quality are the most effective ways to build and maintain a high rating.
The most effective approach is to maintain a fully completed and accurate profile. Fill in every field, upload relevant photos and keep your capacity and pricing up to date. A strong supplier rating also makes a significant difference, so focus on delivering good service to the customers you do win through the platform. Competitive and transparent pricing helps too. Providers who respond quickly to enquiries and keep their listings current consistently attract more business than those with incomplete or outdated profiles.
You can manage your profile visibility directly from your account settings on the platform. To pause or hide your listing temporarily, toggle the visibility setting to inactive. This keeps your profile and data intact but removes it from search results until you reactivate it. If you want to delete your profile permanently, you can do so through account settings or by contacting our team at info@FLOX.is. We process deletion requests promptly and will confirm once the removal is complete.
Every new provider is assigned an onboarding contact who helps with profile setup, listing optimisation and answering questions about the platform. We also provide guidance on how to price your services competitively and present your capabilities effectively to potential customers. Training materials and documentation are available through the platform, covering everything from managing enquiries to invoicing. If you run into issues at any point after onboarding, our support team remains available by email and through the in-platform messaging system.
Yes. You have full control over the pricing you list on the platform. You set your own rates for storage, handling, transport and any additional services you offer. FLOX does not dictate pricing or require you to match competitors. Customers see your listed prices when browsing the marketplace, so transparent and competitive pricing tends to generate more enquiries. You can update your rates at any time through your account dashboard, and our team can advise on pricing strategies if you would like guidance.
